Sometimes I ask myself; Is it really worth it?
Is it worth it to tell a secret? Tell a lie? Not admit to something? Blame someone?
No its not. Who you choose to be as a person, really matters in life. It doesn’t matter whether your an A+ student in school or your the best football player on the team or the prettiest girl within your peers. It doesnt matter about the color of your skin, how rich or poor you are, how you look on the outside, your sexuality, religion, or political views.
What really matters, is who you choose to be behind the scenes.
Its called character.
A man who acts innocent in front of people, could stab someone in the back when everyones not watching.
A women who says she is trustworthy and will keep a secret, could turn around and spread it like a wildfire.
It does not matter who people think you are when you are being watched. All that matters is who you know who you are when no ones looking.
What you do shouldnt be because you know you will get a medal of honor for it. You should do good things out of the kindness of your heart. You should do it without expecting something in return.
You have to be selfless.
Thats where true happiness lies; when you know you have done good without a reward, without being asked, and without reluctance.

“Beauty or brains?”
When asked this question many never hesitate to answer: Beauty.
But I think they say this because they know what society wants them to say, they want to fit in just like everyone else and they would rather be beautiful then smart.
Think about it though, when was the last time the most beautiful girl from highschool actually made something of herself? Last time I checked they usually get bad grades and end up being, -I’ll put it nicely- an exotic dancer.
Now how about that nerdy girl that had no friends? Last time I checked she became a multi-millionaire C.E.O.
So before you answer the question above, actually think about what you actually want, now what society is expecting you to say. If you get judged for it, don’t worry for once, you’ll be judged no matter what you do.
